What version of VMware is used in this course?
This course uses VMware vSphere 4, which is a suite of products, as VMware vSphere 5 is recently launched we do cover new licensing changes and installation of ESXi5
How much of this course is hands-on?
For most of topics we provide enough time for hands-on practical so that one gets experience in designing and deploying a vSphere-based virtual infrastructure.

How many questions are on the exam?
The VCP exam consists of 85 questions and a short, pre-exam survey consisting of eight questions
How much time will I have to complete the exam? You will be provided 90 minutes to complete the exam, and an additional 15 minutes to complete the pre-exam survey. For candidates in countries where English is a second language, an extra 30 minutes is provided. For the purposes of this exam, countries where English is considered one of the primary languages include Australia, Belize, Bermuda, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, Singapore, South Africa, the United Kingdom and the United States.
Do I need to take the class from VMware authorised centre before I take the exam?
No, You can take the class and the exam in any order.However in order to save money you can takes hands-on training from Attari Classes on VMware vSphere and can appear for exam. Later on your employer might send you for VMware authorised training as you have already passed the exam
How long after I pass the exam before I can get my exam results? Candidates will receive their score report from the Pearson VUE testing centre at the time of exam completion
What is the passing score for the VCP exam? The passing score for this exam is 300, using a scaled scoring method. The scale is from 100-500. Scaled scores are calculated using a mathematical formula that considers a variety of factors, including the number and type of exam questions included in a specific version of the exam. Because this combination may vary in different versions of the same examination, scaled scores provide a fair score for each individual based on the version of the exam taken.
